This website is operated by Alba Weave. Throughout these terms, “Alba Weave”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating Alba Weave, and “you” refers to anyone accessing our website or purchasing from us.
By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our website.
1. Online Store
Alba Weave is a New Zealand-established online store. We do not currently operate a physical retail location.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to place an order through our website.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate information when placing an order. You are responsible for ensuring that your contact, billing and delivery details are correct.
2. Products
We take care to describe and present our products as accurately as possible. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen, lighting and device settings.
Natural fibres and handcrafted or small-batch products may have subtle variations in colour, weave, texture, dimensions or finish. These variations are part of the natural character of the materials and are not necessarily considered faults.
Product descriptions, availability and prices may be updated at any time. We may also limit the quantities of a product available for purchase.
3. Prices and Payment
Unless otherwise stated, all prices displayed on our website are in New Zealand dollars.
Any applicable delivery charges will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout. By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing, description or website errors. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you and give you the option to proceed with the corrected information or cancel the affected item for a full refund.
4. Orders
Submitting an order does not mean that we have accepted it. Your order is accepted once we confirm that it has been processed for fulfilment.
We may decline or cancel an order if:
- A product is unavailable.
- Payment cannot be authorised.
- The information provided appears incomplete or incorrect.
- We identify a genuine pricing or product-description error.
- We reasonably suspect fraudulent, unlawful or unauthorised activity.
- We are unable to deliver to the address provided.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item or order.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Once an order has been processed or dispatched, we may not be able to make changes.
5. Delivery
Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, public holidays, severe weather or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Any additional delivery costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address may be charged to you.

6. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Returns, exchanges and change-of-mind requests are governed by our Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms of Service or our Refund Policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or any other rights that cannot legally be excluded.
If a product is faulty, damaged, does not match its description or otherwise fails to meet a legal consumer guarantee, please contact us promptly so we can assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy.
7. Gift Cards and Promotional Offers
Gift cards, discount codes and promotional offers may be subject to additional conditions displayed when they are issued.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Only one discount code may be used per order.
- Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively to completed orders.
- Promotional offers may be changed or withdrawn before an order is placed.
- Gift cards cannot be used to purchase another gift card.
If separate gift-card or promotional terms are provided, those terms will also apply.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not use our website:
- For an unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
- To infringe the rights of another person.
- To transmit malicious code, viruses or harmful material.
- To interfere with the operation or security of the website.
- To collect or misuse another person’s personal information.

Changes will apply to website use and orders placed after the updated terms are published. The terms applying to an existing order will generally be those in effect when that order was placed.

If any part of these Terms of Service is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that part will be removed or limited to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
18. Entire Agreement and Waiver
These Terms of Service, together with the policies referred to in them, form the agreement between you and Alba Weave concerning your use of our website and purchases from us.
If we do not immediately enforce any provision of these terms, this does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.
