Both mulberry silk and peace silk deserves a little extra care. Their care requirements vary slightly, so follow the guidance for your particular silk piece.

Mulberry silk

• Hand wash in cold water or use a delicate machine cycle where suitable.
• Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent formulated for silk.
• Place smaller pieces inside a mesh laundry bag when machine washing.
• Do not bleach, soak for extended periods or use fabric softener.
• Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric.
• Gently press out excess water with a clean towel.
• Air dry naturally, away from direct sunlight and heat.
• If needed, iron on the reverse using the lowest silk setting.

Peace silk (also known as Ahimsa Silk)

• Hand wash gently in cool water.
• Use a mild, pH-neutral silk detergent.
• Do not bleach, soak or wring.
• Roll in a clean towel to remove excess water.
• Reshape and lay flat in the shade to dry.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Cool iron on the reverse if required.
• Store away from direct sunlight.

Hemp is a durable, breathable fibre that softens beautifully over time.

• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cool or lukewarm water.
• Use a mild detergent.
• Avoid bleach, fabric softener and harsh cleaning products.
• Reshape while damp and air dry naturally.
• If tumble drying is permitted, use a low setting and remove promptly.
• Iron while slightly damp at a low-to-medium temperature if desired.

Linen is wonderfully durable and becomes softer with use.

• Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cool or lukewarm water.
• Use a mild detergent.
• Wash with similar colours and avoid overcrowding the machine.
• Do not bleach.
• Reshape while damp and air dry where possible.
• A low tumble-dry setting may be used if permitted by the product’s care label.
• Iron while slightly damp for a smoother finish, or leave naturally creased for linen’s characteristic relaxed texture.

Organic Cotton is naturally comfortable, practical and easy to care for.

• Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cool or warm water.
• Use a mild detergent and wash with similar colours.
• Avoid bleach and harsh stain removers.
• Line dry where possible or tumble dry on a low setting.
• Remove promptly from the dryer to minimise creasing.
• Iron at a medium temperature if required.

• Wash only when needed and air pieces between uses.
• Treat marks promptly, without rubbing or scrubbing the fabric.
• Keep natural fabrics away from prolonged direct sunlight when drying or storing.
• Store clean and completely dry in a cool, well-ventilated place.
• Avoid plastic storage where possible; a breathable cotton pouch is ideal.
